Rail Clips
About Us & Our Strength
With over 20 years of rail clip R&D and production experience, Glory Rail starts with Chinese standard rail presses, providing full-range rail clips and solutions for global customers and long-term supplying major mines, docks and shipyards.
Rail fixing clips (also known as rail clips/rail clamps) are the core precision fixing components of crane track systems. Designed specifically for the high-precision tolerance requirements of track installation, they serve as the connection hub between the track and supporting structures (steel beams, concrete, ballast). They directly determine the installation accuracy, operational stability, and service life of the track system, and are essential core accessories for various rail-mounted lifting equipment such as gantry cranes, overhead cranes, and automated stackers.
Core Functions and Design Purpose
- Achieve precise alignment and firm fixation of the track, restrict excessive lateral displacement, vibration, and deviation of the track during crane operation, and ensure the stable operation of lifting equipment;
- Efficiently bear the horizontal lateral load (perpendicular to the track direction) exerted by crane wheels, and at the same time disperse the pressure transmitted by the track to avoid local damage to the supporting structure;
- Adapt to different track profiles, installation foundations, and industry load requirements, provide flexible installation method options, and balance construction convenience and working condition adaptability.
Bolted Rail Fixing Clips
Core installation characteristics
- Bolt connection — no welding required; simple, quick installation.
- Supplied with grade 8.8 high-strength bolts as standard.
Core performance and advantages
- Cost-effective for light-to-medium duty applications — reduces procurement and installation costs.
- Low-profile design — compatible with guide rollers and does not interfere with adjacent equipment or accessories.
- Flexible installation — easy maintenance and disassembly for later service.
- Supplied with a full set of accessories and installation guidance to reduce installation errors.
Suitable operating conditions
Light-to-medium duty environments such as industrial buildings and high-racking warehouses; typical uses include bridge cranes, monorail/ single-rail cranes, rail-guided vehicles (RGVs), and small transfer vehicles.
Welded Rail Clips
Core installation characteristics
- Welded attachment — can be installed from above the rail beam, making it suitable for work at height and in confined spaces.
- Compact structure — for the same footprint it delivers higher load capacity and saves installation space.
Core performance and advantages
- High load capacity — suited for heavy loads and high-frequency operation; vibration-resistant and resistant to lateral movement.
- Very secure installation — long-term use without loosening.
- Compatible with a wide range of heavy rail profiles and capable of meeting high-precision requirements.
- Supplied with professional welding procedure guidance.
Suitable operating conditions
Heavy-duty industrial settings such as steel mills, ports, and power plants; typical applications include ladle cranes, gantry cranes, and large automated stacker/reclaimer systems.
Core Difference Comparison
